About Me

Adam D. Jones, M.A.

I began telling stories when my middle school newspaper asked for fiction submissions. That’s when I saw my words in print for the first time, and ever since I’ve only wanted to be a writer. (It was a very important story about a dolphin outwitting a shark.)

Besides fiction, I’ve also done my time in the academy, where I lectured students, researched some of history’s more obscure figures, and published a thesis on medieval historiography that (somehow) is listed on Wikipedia as something authoritative. (It’s easier to find my thesis on German academic sites. I can’t decide what to make of that.)

I even wrote a board game or two, and then spent some time writing ads for businesses, big and small, and later helped a silicon valley startup with a book catalog. But fiction is more fun, and this site is all about the stories I’ve been wanting to tell since I was old enough to hold a pencil and scribble down my inklings.

You can use the tabs at the top of this site to read about my projects. Follow me on Facebook and I’ll update you when I’m releasing a new book. Or use Twitter. Or Instagram. Or just sign up for my mailing list, which is where I send deals and cat pictures.
